Today we went on our nature hunt for our natural materials. We found sticks, stones, leaves, seeds, and even a caterpillar that is now our class pet. We then sorted all our materials in their basket homes and talked about why we choose to sort them this way. We discussed what we could do with the materials and how we could use them. One thing that was brought up was the they wanted to make paper with the sticks... Big thanks to our parent volunteers who helped make this such a great experience!
